Web/VR/mobile 3D DataMentary | Coverage3D, a form of multimedia coverage

Martin Lenclos created a format for 3D interactive and interpretative representation of live events used for online diffusion. In 2008, he launched Coverage3D, a platform built to enable online users to “visit” events virtually, getting a sense of the event experience through interviews, streamed video, sound, and photography. Martin Lenclos explores new avenues with the concept of 3D DataMentary.

Hundreds of event pictures, videos and sounds catalogued, into 3D sprites and objects. The visitor explores an entire scene, with interview subjects represented by interactive avatars.
